Submission Guidelines 2006
- Print and internet
submissions must be provided with a completed application form, two copies of the
publication/web page with the relevant article highlighted, and an electronic copy of the article on disk or CD-Rom.
Please provide an English language translation for non-English
articles.
- Film
submissions must be provided with a completed application form and two VHS copies of the whole broadcast with the relevant section
noted and an English language transcript of the relevant section.
Please provide the transcript as a printed version and an electronic version on disk or
CD-ROM.
- Radio
submissions must be provided with the application form and two standard
cassette/CD copies of the whole broadcast with the relevant section
noted and an English language transcript of the relevant section.

These are the application rules for the
2006
Eloquium Award:
- Entries for the Boehringer Ingelheim COPD Communication Award Eloquium will be accepted from the
following media: print, television, radio, internet.
- Entries must have been published or broadcast between 24 September 2005 and 22 September 2006.
- Entries must be received at the Award Secretariat by 22 September 2006.
- Entries must address a consumer or medical audience (or both).
- Every entry must be accompanied by a completed application form, which can be downloaded at
www.eloquium.org.
- Entries are invited from all countries, except the United States where journalists are not eligible for
participation. Please provide an English translation with non-English entries where possible.
- Multiple entries from journalists may be submitted provided an application form is enclosed for each
entry.
- Any collaborators, and their role, must be stated on the application form. Collaborators must consent
to submission of the entry by signing the form.
- The judging panels decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
- The organisers may seek permission to display entries.
- The winners will be announced on 15 November 2006 (World COPD Day).
